BritRail Eurail Passes are available in 1st and 2nd Class
Your BritRail Pass will also allow you to benefit from London Airport Link services: Heathrow Express, Gatwick Express and Stansted Sky Train.
Discounts
Discounts are granted on Adults fares only for adults, children, senior, youth and party
Children up to 4 years of age on train’s departure date: free
Other children from 5 up to 15 included on train’s departure date: half -adult fare
If “child” does not show on the printed pass, travellers will be ask to pay an extra ticket on board
Senior formula in 1st Class only, for traveller from 60 included on the first day of travel
Youth formula in 1st and 2nd Class, for travellers from 16 up to 25 included on the first day of travel: 50% discount on the Standard Adult fare*

Family Pass
Available in 1st and 2nd Class
Applicable to Regular and Off Peak BritRail England Consecutive and Flexi Passes
One child from 5 up to 15 inclusive on the first day of travel travels FREE when accompanied by either one adult or one senior
From the 2nd child accompanied by either an adult or a senior, the regular child price is applied: half adult fare
Party Pass
Party Passes will automatically be linked for travel with a full fare pass
3rd to 9th passengers traveling 1st or 2nd class in a group together at all times are entitled to a 50% discounted Party Pass (rounded up to the next dollar)
A maximum of 2 children FREE per party pass (Adult and Senior passes only).
No free children from 3rd to 9th passengers
BritRail Guest Pass
The BritRail Guest Pass entitles both the International traveller and the British resident travelling with him/her to benefit from a 25% discount on the adult fare.
The UK Guest passenger must travel with the Pass holder at all times and provide proof of residence upon request.
The BritRail Guest Pass is not available with the “Party Pass” and "Family Pass" formulas, or with Senior and youth fares.

Who can get
People with a permanent residence outside of the United Kingdom, for more than six months, are eligible to purchase or use a Britrail Consecutive or Flexi pass.
The Pass is not valid for residents of Europe.
How to use
Vallidation
Passes must be validated within 6 months of issuing date by a railway official in the United Kingdom (station’s desk) who also fills in the passport number
Passes must be validated prior to boarding the first train or using a bonus
Passes are actual travel documents and do not need to be exchanged
The date of travel has to be entered in the correct way before boarding the first train/bonus, by the traveller, in the corresponding box of the calendar
7:00pm rule
If an overnight train starts after 7:00pm on a validated BritRail Pass, the pass holder must enter the next day’s date on the pass, provided it falls within the validity of the pass

The Swiss passes offer the Swiss family card. This card provides free travel for children 6 to15 when traveling with a parent or guardian.
The BritRail family pass offers a free child from 5 to 15 with each full fare adult or senior pass.
The Great British Heritage family pass is available for 2 adults and up to 3 children.
Many passes offer saver options which can be used for families. Children ages 4-11 will be half of the adult fare on the saver pass.
Currently the only animals that will be permitted to travel on the Eurostar are guide dogs for the visually impaired.
Special equipment is also available for use by handicapped passengers. This equipment must be reserved locally in advance. Be sure to specify if you need personal assistance (whether with a wheelchair, boarding, etc.).
The Swiss Pass allows children under 16 to travel free when they are traveling with a parent who is holding a Swiss Pass. On BritRail passes, children 5 through 15 are free with each paying adult.
Flexi First class offers on day train 1st class seat , and are the most exchangeable. Night trains will offer first class couchette (shared sleeping) or sleepers and are exchangeable. Meal service may be available for purchase.
